This is a treatment that involves ‘talk therapy’ in order to identify stressors and behaviours that impact your life and prevent you from moving forward in life. The focus is recognizing and acknowledging the things you cannot change and focus on changing relationships and behaviours that are within your control. I have experience and training in supportive, psychodynamic therapy and cognitive behaviour therapy.
I believe that no condition should be managed with medication alone and there is a time and place for every kind of intervention. Medication should always be supported with some form of therapeutic intervention.
